The move makes MBR/Global now one of the largest providers of private sector business support for musicians and music businesses in the UK. It establishes a stronger MBR foothold in the South East of England and adds a further commercial arm to it’s current operation.
New offices have been taken at London’s St. Brides Institute (near Fleet Street) and MBR is looking to imprint Global with its own brand of customer service, quality and value-for-money training.
The two companies have much in common. They are each celebrating 10 years in business this year and grew out of the same frustration in the lack of effective business support for people wanting to working in the music industry. Times have changed however with Government programmes like the New Deal for musicians and support for the "Cultural Industries" now moving into the mainstream.
